Hello,
My name is Gerhard Herzet and I love languages. There is much to tell, but I will try to give you a brief insight into my private and professional life. I was born in Belgium and had the privilege of growing up bilingual. I learned German and French in the cradle and, through my schooling and further education, English, Dutch and Flemish were added.
I spent much of my professional life away on business overseas. During that period I learned Spanish and broadened my knowledge of other languages. Since 2007 I have been a free-lance translator and interpreter. I work together closely with a small professional team of translators and interpreters. Nowadays I live in Schneverdingen, just south of Hamburg, Germany.
Through long experience and continuous training, I place high demands on my services. I pursue standards of a high quality in order to satisfy both myself and my customers.
